I was born in a city having a great historical status in our country.Before the Pakistan came into being it was an independent state owned by Nawab Sadiq Khan Abbasi.It is a very beautiful city containing very beautiful palaces such as Noor Mahal,Darbar Mahal,Dubai Mahal.All of them have a magnificent structure and are an important reason to attract the tourists not only from Pakistan but also from all over the world.

The city contains library known as central library build in 20th century it contains thousands of Books related to every topic thats why many researchers from all over Pakistan came here to collect materials for their researches

Bahawalpur is very renowned for its pottery made up of mud and clay aand the "Sohan Halwa" is one of the major Sogat of Bahawalpur.

S.E College |
Sadiq Egertion College (A.S.A : S.E College) is also an important part of Bahawalpur.The college was formed in late 19th century and is one of the best colleges of Pakistan.Many important well-known personalities have studied here.
City also contains a great educational importance.It contains Asia's largest school (on the basis of land) known y for as Sadiq Public School.Initially the school was only for the royalties but after the formation of Pakistan the school was made public.School contains a huge swimming pool,polo grounds e.t.c.

There are also many cultural events organized by the government such as Bahar Festival,Bazm-e-Adam,Music Festival,etc.
One of biggest and most important event of Bahawalpur is the famous "Jeep Rally".Every year racing lovers from all over the Pakistan came at "Cholistan" desert and stay there for about a week for the rally race.The rally is held near Drawar Fort Bahawalpur.

The city is surrounded by many gates which also has a certain historical importance.

Fawara Chowk |
There are many "Chowks" at Bahawalpur.They also have a historical importance in the history of Bahawalpur.One of the Chowk is known as "Fawara Chowk" it was gift of Queen Elizabeth to the Nawab.The Chowk consist of a fountain made up of pure silver.It is actually a replica of the Birmingham Palace.
People of Bahawalpur are very friendly,humble,simple and known for there hospitality.
There is also a very beautiful zoo from the Nawab times which contains many precious animals.The zoo was build by the Nawab of Bahawalpur for his Leisure.But after his death the zoo was made publicly open.
